The Abbey in 1926/27
The Scott Choir was completed in 1925 against the western end of Hansom’s church built in 1957: then the west wall was demolished.
Throne given to Abbot Oswald Smith by the Old Boys on his election as first Abbot in 1900. The blocked window, upper left, led to a tribune which was later the Dormitory Monitor’s room in St Oswald’s.
